Lower House to debate health insurance draft bill next week
The Lower House approved a motion to debate in its next session a draft bill regarding health insurance companies, despite the official bloc urging the opposition caucus to give table emotion treatment to the bill.
With over two thirds of the majority agreeing, lawmakers decided to debate the draft bill next week, regardless it has committee approval or not.
Social Action and Public Health committee was supposed to analyze the health insurance bill yesterday, but the meeting was suspended.
The draft bill was created former Kirchnerite lawmaker Patricia Vaca Narvada was approved in 2008 and modified by the Senate in November 2010, days before it lost congressional status.
The draft bill is rejected by healthcare companies and states new items in the patient-company relation. The draft bill states that after a certain amount of years of paying contributions, the companies won’t be able to increase the monthly fee to those clients-
