Gov’t officializes use of combined-list ballots for October elections
The Government issued today three decrees which complete the regulation of the 2009 political reform law, reinstating the open and simultaneous primaries for all political parties. Among the decrees, number 443/2011 authorized the use of controversial combined-list ballots in the upcoming general elections of October.
At the same time, the Decree 445/2011 addressed the issues of campaigning allowing funds and advertising spaces for political campaign.
