Bossio defends ANSes participation in private companies, at Congress
The ANSes Social Security Agency boss, Diego Bossio, met with members of the social security funds watchdog Congress committee and explained the reach of the government’s Emergency Decree 441 that enables the State to act according to the share capital it possesses in private companies and join the board of directors by removing previous limitations.
After the meeting, Bossio told the press that "there are no particular interests involved", and added, "The ANSes just want the private companies to do well so that we can all do well."
Furthermore, Bossio indicated that the measure was adopted to "level the political and economical rights. plus it will guarantee the social profitability."
Bossio had indicated that the government is “seeking what’s fair”, and added, “So far, the ANSes participation was limited to five percent of the total capital when it has owned more than that percentage in a large number of private companies.”
